Bring a book and find a cool corner of the Museum to read in, and join us in a 15 minute reading challenge. We’ll make an announcement at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to let the reading commence!
You can also join Kent District Library Staff for engaging storytimes at 12 p.m., 1 p.m., and 2 p.m.
Design and take home your very own button pin. Get creative! Celebrate your favorite book or author. Make a “Best Librarian” button for your local library staff. Write a line from a poem. The choice is yours!
Don’t forget to check out the books in the Curiosity Shop. There are titles for both children and adults exploring history, science, and culture.
Every day from Saturday, March 29 through Sunday, April 13, guests can expect activity tables and games in addition to special theme activities. Volunteers will bring out Discovery Carts, where guests can handle real Museum artifacts and specimens. Guests can also grab a scavenger hunt from the front desk to complete as they explore exhibits.
Spring Break Fun is included with your general admission tickets and Kent County kids 17 and under get in FREE every day.
